A classic black ankle boot with a touch of originality. The Trippen Flaw Boot features a wedge sole, an inner zipper for easy accessibility, a squared toe with a pleat, and a centered seam on that back in a contrasting gold color.
The gold seam on the back of this boot is meant to resemble the mending technique of Japanese Kintusgi where broken ceramics are lovingly and painstakingly put back together by hand using lacquer mixed with powdered gold or silver - embracing flaws and creating something stronger and more beautiful in the end.
